Logo Design Terms and Conditions

By contracting 411 Locals’ Logo Design services, which are billed in advance, you agree to the following specific terms and conditions.

Project Delivery

After we receive payment of said fee, 411 Locals will email you a questionnaire to get the necessary information for our logo designers to begin creating your logo. You will then be provided with three logos that are created by us and are based on your needs, feedback, and revisions. When you receive the three initial proposed logos, you have 30 days to review them and provide your feedback. If you fail to keep that deadline, 411 Locals will assume you have accepted one of the designs, and you will not be able to request revisions after that. The project will therefore be deemed complete.

Customers who respond to 411 Locals in a timely fashion may suggest revisions to any one of the proposed logos. You can choose one logo design and provide suggested modifications or changes to that preferred logo. 411 Locals will then revise the logo using “good faith efforts” in its sole creative judgment to incorporate requested changes, in an attempt to meet your specifications. You can request up to 3 proposed revisions of your preferred logo.

As our customer, you are responsible for preparing and sending detailed answers to your logo questionnaire. 411 Locals disclaims any obligation to review the information provided by the Customer for accuracy, completeness of information, quality, or clarity. 411 Locals may decide, in its sole discretion, not to follow the specific recommendations provided by the Customer.

The Customer grants 411 Locals and its mother company a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sub-licensable, exclusive, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, communicate to the public, perform and display (in whole or in part), and/or incorporate in other works, in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, the designs provided by 411 Locals, for the full term of any intellectual property rights that may exist in such designs to the extent necessary to provide the Customer with the Service and the designs.

Intellectual Property

The Customer retains ownership of the final logo design provided by 411 Locals. The Customer does not, however, own any materials, media, or other content generated during any revision cycles leading up to the final design. These rights are expressly reserved to 411 Locals. The Customer acknowledges and hereby grants 411 Locals the right to use questionnaires, as well as individual designs provided to the Customer, for internal and/or advertising purposes.
